Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day

The month is June, the subject is roses.  I am going about the neighborhood to see how many roses I can capture.

This creamy yellow beauty is in  my neighbor's garden

This rose greets me every morning.

It seems I'm not the only one who loves roses.  I spied these on my walk around the neighborhood.

To see what's blooming around the country visit Carol at May Dreams Gardens .

  1. You spied some beautiful ones.

  2. Yes.... the roses are great... I really have to exert a lot of self-control in order to not be planting more all the time. In fact I'm forcing myself to remove many in an effort to cut back on maintenance. Larry

  3. Those roses are breathtakingly beautiful! You take very nice photos! Happy GBBD!

  4. Is there anything more beautiful than a rose? You captured some great examples, Carolyn Gail; I can almost smell their intoxicating fragrance here.

  5. wonderful! I love your collage of roses! Mine haven't even started here, yet. It has been a long, cool spring in Utah.

  6. Curious, the brown carex. Is that cold hardy in Chicago? Blooms look great.
